SPP "Asterion" started operating on the Wholesale electricity and capacity market

On December 01, 2020, the SPP "Asterion" with a capacity of 15 MW started operating on the wholesale electricity and capacity market in the Pallasovsky district of the Volgograd region. 

This is the third solar power plant built by solar systems in the Volgograd region. the total capacity of the solar power plants built by the company has reached 65 MW. 

The degree of localization of the generating facility complies with the Rules approved by government Decree No. 426 of 03.06.08 and confirmed by the Ministry of industry and trade of the Russian Federation at the level of 70%. 

The SPP "Asterion" is located on a plot of 410,000 square meters. 43630 photovoltaic modules were installed. The amount of investment in the construction of the solar Park was about 1.9 billion rubles, and more than 200 jobs were created during the construction period. Generation of electric energy from the SPP "Asterion" will be up to 20 thousand MWh per year.
