75 MW SAMARA SPP transformers installation completed/PRESS RELEASE
18.04.2017
On April 18, 2017, at the request of Solar Systems, the contract organization Samara-VEM performed installation of TRDN-63000/110 U1 transformers at the construction site of the Samara SPP 75 MW in Novokuybyshevsk.
TRDN-63000/110 U1 transformers will perform a key function in the work of the solar park. They are used to increase the voltage from 10 kV (from inverters) to 110 kV for delivery of "green energy" to the network. After installation, the equipment will be preserved until it is connected to the unified power system.
To date, positive conclusion has already been received for the design documentation for substation 10/10/110 kV of the Samara SPP, construction and installation of foundations and reinforced concrete structures, oil pipeline, oil sump and transformers and acceptance tests are being carried out.
300,000 photovoltaic modules will be installed within the framework of Samara SPP construction. They will generate more than 100,000 MWh/year. 10 billion rubles – cumulative investment in the region. After the SPP starts operating at full capacity, the regional budget will receive more than 390 million rubles of tax payments.
Samara SPP 75 MW will provide electricity to 100,000 people of the region.
Solar Systems, LLC was established in March 2014 for the purpose of construction and operation of solar power plants on the territory of Russia. The company is currently implementing projects in Samara and Astrakhan Regions. Solar power plants in Volgograd Region, Stavropol Krai and the Republic of Kalmykia are planned to be constructed in the next 3 years. Due to commissioning of 11 solar parks, total installed capacity of power systems of these regions will increase by 255 MW. Cumulative investments will surpass 33,5 billion rubles.
