  • Signing of agreement on technological connection of Staromaryevskaya SPP 100 MW to networks of PJSC “IDGC of the North Caucasus”

    26.04.2017

On April 26, 2017, Solar Systems and PJSC “IDGC of the North Caucasus” signed an agreement on technological connection of Staromaryevskaya SPP 100 MW to the power grid.

Technological connection to the power grid of “IDGC of the North Caucasus” is one of the key issues, since only in this way clean energy will be able to flow into the general energy system of the country. To connect the solar generation facility, energy workers will construct a 110 kV overhead line with a length of more than 100 meters. Connection works are scheduled to be completed in 2018.

Staromarevskaya SPP 100 MW will be built on an area of 250 hectares in the Grachevsky district of the Stavropol Krai. Commissioning is planned to be completed in 2018 and 2019 in 4 stages. Clean energy without emissions of harmful substances into the atmosphere will provide electricity for more than 130 thousand citizens of the region.

The investments in the construction of the solar park in the Stavropol Krai will be about 13 billion rubles, about 300 jobs will be created for the construction period. After the SPP starts to generate electricity at full capacity, the regional budget will annually receive more than 500 million rubles of tax payments.

Solar Systems, LLC was established in March 2014 for the purpose of construction and operation of solar power plants on the territory of Russia. The company is currently implementing projects in Samara and Astrakhan Regions. Solar power plants in Volgograd Region, Stavropol Krai and the Republic of Kalmykia are planned to be constructed in the next 3 years. Due to commissioning of 11 solar parks, total installed capacity of power systems of these regions will increase by 255 MW. Cumulative investments will surpass 33,5 billion rubles.

The public joint-stock company Rosseti (PJSC Rosseti) is one of the largest electric grid companies in the world. The company manages 2.30 million km of power transmission lines, 490 thousand substations with transformer capacity of more than 761 GVA.
